Our People - Lyndal

Canterbury Limousine Tours is owned and operated by Lyndal McMeeking. Born in Christchurch and raised in Southland Lyndal has spent the last 24 years living in the City of Christchurch. For most of that time she was involved in banking and marketing roles in the corporate sector, before choosing a life change to combine three of her passions - travel, organising events and the South Island - and pursue a life in tourism. Lyndal has been showing people around the stunning South Island since 2003.

Main interests include food & wine (all types), art, music, live theatre and sports - including rugby, of course. Her home is Mt Pleasant, on Christchurch's scenic Port Hills and, like many Kiwis, the great outdoors are a big part of Lyndal's life. Her love of travel has seen her visit many places both within and outside New Zealand (in the UK, Europe, Asia & Australia). She also speaks Japanese and has a good understanding of the Japanese culture.

Providing guests with a high level of service and a personal experience are number one priorities. So Lyndal has personal input into most tours and hires we undertake, either as the driver/guide or in designing the tour itinerary.

Our People - Bob

Lyndal's right-hand man and driver/guide is her father Bob. A retired senior officer of the New Zealand Police Bob has a strong interest in harness racing and, with wife Norma breeds standard-bred horses on his property just out of Christchurch. He has also traveled extensively and is quite partial to cruise ship holidays (most recently in the Caribbean). Born in Southland and a longtime Canterbury resident Bob is also a proud 'Mainlander' and a popular host with guests.

In addition to Lyndal & Bob we rely on a small number of personally selected, experienced driver/guides to assist in delivering our service.

Our Vehicles

Our experienced driver/guides and luxury vehicles are available 24/7 (by pre-arrangement only) over any timeframe - from 1 hour to an extensive South Island tour over several weeks. Services are by private hire so our guests always have the exclusive use of their car and driver/guide.

For maximum comfort and safety we choose to use the following chauffeur-driven vehicles:

      - Mercedes-Benz S Class luxury sedan (1-3 passengers)
      - Mercedes-Benz Viano Trend luxury van (4-7 passengers)

Our vehicles are maintained to the highest standard and come complete with air conditioning, airbags, power steering and CD player. A secure luggage trailer can also be provided (with the Viano) - at no extra cost.

Other/larger quality touring vehicles are also used from time-to-time and may be available on enquiry.
